A most versatile and creative designer, his accomplishments range through all fields of architecture-domestic, religious, institutional and industrial. As architect and visiting professor he has been vitally interested in the form and content of many educational institutions throughout the country. Because he believes that every human shelter should be distinctive, and because he brings to each new project the best of his talent without compromise we are pleased to confer upon him the degree of Doctor of Humane Letters, honoris causa.
